
Leah Marie Dorion
Leah Marie Dorion is a direct descendant of Jean Baptist Dorion! She is an Indigenous (Metis) interdisciplinary artist raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. She is a self-taught visual artist and credits her creative family for inspiring her to take up painting and the traditional Metis arts.
Leah is also a teacher, published author, and storyteller. Her art pays homage to women, earth based spirituality, and the Indigenous knowledge. Visit www.leahdorion.ca for more information about her artistic practice.
